Drayton Manor Park is preparing for its biggest and best fireworks spectacular yet, complete with lasers, lights and a special screening of the hugely popular film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it’s sure to set visitors’ spines tingling.
The family owned and run park hosts an annual fireworks spectacular, but this year on Friday 28th, Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th October it’s going to be bigger and better than ever. Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be premiered on an outdoor cinema screen within the park. Families will be able to relax and enjoy the film outdoors before the spectacular show concludes with a galactic firework and laser show set over the lake with brilliant lights and lasers.
The screening will be throughout the day with fireworks starting at 8pm on Friday 28th October and 7pm on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th October (last admission is 6pm), and many rides will remain open until 9pm, so the thrills can continue into the evening. Europe’s first stand-up rollercoaster, Shockwave, Air Race, which takes riders on an aerial adventure and the drop-tower Apocalypse, will be amongst those open until late.
For the younger visitors, there is Thomas Land™, home to over 25 rides and attractions based on the ever popular Thomas & Friends™ series, where families can enjoy a day out before heading to the main event.
